Patient Services Team Member
Due to staff retirements Charnwood Community Medical Group are seeking new members to join our friendly, hardworking and forward thinking Patient Services Team.
These roles could be part/full time working between 7.30am-1.00pm and 1.00pm-6.45pm (Monday – Friday) across all 3 sites.
This is a challenging and rewarding role requiring initiative, intelligence, excellent communication, tact and discretion.
Experience in General Practice would be an advantage for this role; however full training will be given to the right candidate.
The successful candidate will be positive and self-motivated, enjoy working as part of a team and provide a range of administration duties such as:
· Ensure an effective, professional and efficient service is provided to patients and any other visitors to the practice.
· Booking, cancelling and amending appointments. Including taking basic clinical details and signposting patients.
· Dealing with general enquiries via multiple platforms including but not limited to face to face, email, SMS text message, the clinical system, letter and telephone.
· Adding patient correspondence onto the clinical system.
We are a busy practice with over 12,500 patients. Our innovative multidisciplinary team includes 8 GP Partners, 5 Salaried GPs, 2 Nurse Practitioners, 2 Health Care Assistants, 1 Phlebotomist.
